Project Goal
PROBLEM: Parents and Teachers around Hong Kong believe it is needed to teach children empathy as soon as possible, however they believe it is difficult to teach them an abstract topic and hard to engage them to learn.

GOAL: Design an app that will easily teach children ages between 2 to 5 the topic of empathy and engage them through storytelling.

What I Learned/ Next Steps
What I learned:

I learned that this was a challenging project to finish, due to involving both ux (practicality) and graphic design (creativity), I feel this is a useful app fulfilling teachers/ parents’ needs.
Next Steps
1. Conduct research on how successful the app is in teaching children empathy.
2. Refine the visual design such as the character/ color selection to capture children’s attention more.
3. Research on more empathy related games children could play.
